Torres: "I'm at the best club"

04 August 2010 0
Liverpool striker Fernando Torres has dismissed speculation linking him with a move away from Anfield by insisting he is extremely happy to be at "the best club in the country".

Torres, who returned to training on Monday after winning the World Cup with Spain, has been the subject of persistent transfer rumours after Liverpool failed to qualify for the Champions League and manager Rafa Benitez left the club.

Premier League rivals Chelsea and Manchester City had both been touted as potential suitors but Torres, 26, has moved to quash suggestions he is ready to move on.

"My commitment and loyalty to the club and to the fans is the same as it was on my first day when I signed. I am looking forward to the challenge ahead," Torres said. "I am really happy to be back, really happy to stay with all my team-mates.

"This is the best club in the country so the targets and expectations are always high. At Liverpool the aim is to fight for every title. It was difficult last season, but we are sure we can improve this season."

New Liverpool manager Roy Hodgson always maintained that he wanted to keep the Reds' record-signing at the club and Torres said he was impressed to have been paid a personal visit.

"I really appreciated the fact that Roy came out to see me while I was on my holidays," Torres said. "He told me about his plans for the club and what he wanted from me and I appreciated that.

"I hope he will be the right man to reach the targets of Liverpool Football Club and I am really looking forward to working with him. At the moment I am training just on my own but as soon as I can I will train with the team and with the new manager."

Torres' commitment to remain with Liverpool follows that of skipper Steven Gerrard, who made a similar pledge when he returned after the World Cup.

The only one of Liverpool's senior stars who does not want to stay on Merseyside is Javier Mascherano, who asked Hodgson to allow him to leave when he came back to Melwood a week ago.

Argentina's captain is looking for a reunion with Benitez at Inter Milan but Hodgson will not allow the midfielder unless the club recieves an offer in excess of £25 million.

What If This Happen To You...Did You Ever Think About It

Inspired from yahoo story...Like the story. So like to share with others, Don't get to busy with your work my fren...Chill out and read this...Nice one...

BUENOS AIRES, Argentina – The search is finally over for Abel Madariaga, whose pregnant wife was kidnapped by Argentine security forces 33 years ago.

After decades of doubt and loneliness, of searching faces in the street in hopes they might be related, Madariaga has found his son.

"I never stopped thinking I would find him," the 59-year-old father said, squeezing his son's arm during a packed news conference Tuesday.

"For the first time, I know who I was. Who I am," the young man said, still marveling at his new identity: Francisco Madariaga Quintela, a name he only learned last week.

The Grandmothers of the Plaza de Mayo rights group believes about 400 children were stolen at birth from women who were kidnapped and killed as part of the 1976-1983 dictatorship's "dirty war" against political dissidents, which killed as many as 30,000 people.

Madariaga and his wife, Silvia Quintela, were members of the Montoneros, a leftist group targeted for elimination by government death squads. He last saw his wife — a 28-year-old surgeon who treated the poor in a Buenos Aires suburb — being pushed into a Ford Falcon by army officers dressed as civilians as she walked to a train on Jan. 17, 1977.

Madariaga managed to flee into exile to avoid the same fate. Ever since, he has made finding the children of those who disappeared his life's cause.

Returning to a democratic Argentina in 1983, he became the grandmothers group's secretary and first male member. He lobbied the government to create a DNA database and dedicate judicial resources to the effort, and developed strategies for persuading young people with doubts about their identities to come forward and get DNA tests.

All the while, his own son's fate remained a mystery.

As it turned out, Quintela gave birth to the son the couple had planned to name Francisco in July 1977 while imprisoned in one of Argentina's largest and most notorious clandestine torture centers, the Campo de Mayo in suburban Buenos Aires. Surviving prisoners later reported that the newborn was taken from her the next day, and she disappeared shortly thereafter.

A military intelligence officer, Victor Alejandro Gallo, brought the baby, his umbilical cord still attached, home to his wife, Ines Susana Colombo. They named him Alejandro Ramiro Gallo and never told him he was adopted. The marriage didn't last — Gallo was a violent man, Francisco Madariaga said — and he never felt like he belonged, looking nothing like his brother and sister.
While the Gallo family fell apart, the younger Madariaga escaped in his own way, twice touring Europe as a professional juggler.

Meanwhile, Gallo was convicted of murdering a couple and their child during a robbery in 1994 and served a 10-year prison term.

Francisco Madariaga's doubts increased, until finally he confronted his adoptive mother. "She broke down and was able to tell me the truth," he recalled, adding that he can't say he blames her. "There was so much violence — physical and mental — and she suffered. She also was a victim."

On Feb. 3, encouraged by his friends, the young man and Colombo approached the grandmothers group to tell their story. Fearful of Gallo, they rushed to take a blood test the next day, and DNA results arrived last week. Father and son finally met on Friday — the same day Gallo was arrested on suspicion of illegal adoption.

Colombo also has been detained and questioned, according to an attorney for the grandmothers group, Alan Iud. Colombo and Gallo are represented by public defenders who didn't respond to calls after hours Tuesday.

Trembling before the cameras, Abel Madariaga recalled his reunion with his son.
"When he came through the door that night, we recognized each other totally, and the hug that brought us together was spectacular," he said.

Over the years, the grandmothers group has succeeded in identifying 100 children of the disappeared. Madariaga has organized many news conferences announcing such victories. This time, his chest heaved as he presented his own son to the world.

"At times I wondered what the hell I was living for. I had to find a way to continue, thinking about everyday things, hoping for this moment of happiness," the elder Madariaga said. "Hugging him that first time, it was as if I filled a hole in my soul."

Francisco Madariaga stopped smiling only at the mention of the name he was given by the Gallos.

"Never again" will I use this name, he said. "To have your identity is the most beautiful thing there is."

A Glass of Milk

13 November 2009 1
One day....
A poor boy was selling clothing door to door...
To pay for his education realized that he only had ten cents left in his pockets...
He was so hungry and so decided to ask for some food at the next house that he came to...
In the meantime he lost his hunger when a beautiful young woman opened the door...
Instead of a meal, he asked her for a glass of water...

She saw that he was very hungry so instead brought him a huge glass of milk...
He drank it very slowly and then asked, "How much do I owe you?"
"You do not owe me anything at all", she replied...
"My mother taught us never to accept anything for doing someone a kindness".
He replied, "then i thank you from the bottom of my heart".
When Howard Kelly left the house,
as well as feeling stronger physically,
he sensed a return of his faith in the Lord which he had nearly abandoned...

Years later...
This same young woman fell gravely ill...
The local doctors were mystified,
so they sent her to the big city where they knew that the specialists would be able to diagnose this rare sickness...

Doctor Howard Kelly was called as a consultant...
When he heard the name of the city where lived,
a memory burned brightly in his eyes...
He got up and went to her room...

As he entered her room,
he immediately recognized her...
He returned to the consultation room,
determined to do his best to save her life...

From that day on,
he paid special attention to this case...
After a long battle,
the war was finally won...

Doctor Kelly left instructions that the bill should be sent to him for authorization...
He looked it over,
wrote something in the margin,
and sent it to her room...

She thought that when she opened the envelope,
she would find an invoice that would take the rest of her life to pay in full...
But when she finally opened it...
Something caught her attention in the margin of the invoice...
She read these words: "Paid in full with a glass of milk, Doctor Howard Kelly."

Tears of joy filled her eyes and her heart...
She prayed, "Thank you Lord, for your love has crossed the hands and hearts of man."

There is a saying that goes like this:
"Bread thrown over the water returns to you"
An act of goodness that you do today can come back to you or someone that you love,
when you are not expecting it...

If you do not see this act of goodness returned,
at least you will have made a diffenrence in this world...
And in the end, isn't that what life is all about?

The hardest lesson in life, is to know which bridges to cross,
and which to burn...
Many people pass through our lives but only real friends leave their imprint in our hearts..

Walking In DayDreams

30 October 2009 1
Ever experienced this before...
Actually you are awake but feel like you are dreaming...
I can say, in reality you are walking in a daydream...

If you dream of walking rapidly in your dream, you will come to possess a much desired object...
To walk in pleasent places, you will be the possessor of fortune and favor...
To dream of walking in the night brings bad luck and times when your feelings are not reciprocated...

To dream of walking on water means that you have supreme control over your emotions....
Alternatively, it may symbolize faith in yourself...

Many people see themselves walking along in a dream...
It is very important to remember where you were walking to and if the walk was difficult or not...
The way we move in dreams, or the means of transportation, may represent how efficiently we maneuver and progress on our own personal life journey...
Also, is the means of transportation appropriate for the journey?

The video shows, actually more or less the same...
What will you do when you were in that situation?
Sometime we think, in dreams, we can solve it even its imposibble to do so.

Enjoy it...

Some People....

07 October 2009 4
Some people come into our lives and quickly go....

Some people move our souls to dance....

They awaken us to new understanding....

But yet.....you still wondering why its happen that way...

Some people make the sky more beautiful to gaze upon....

They stay in our lives for awhile....

leave footprints on our hearts....

and we are never, ever the same again....

Some people see us....

Not the way we are but the way we look....

Even we hate it, but that is how life goes....
