Torres: "I'm at the best club"

04 August 2010 0
Liverpool striker Fernando Torres has dismissed speculation linking him with a move away from Anfield by insisting he is extremely happy to be at "the best club in the country".

Torres, who returned to training on Monday after winning the World Cup with Spain, has been the subject of persistent transfer rumours after Liverpool failed to qualify for the Champions League and manager Rafa Benitez left the club.

Premier League rivals Chelsea and Manchester City had both been touted as potential suitors but Torres, 26, has moved to quash suggestions he is ready to move on.

"My commitment and loyalty to the club and to the fans is the same as it was on my first day when I signed. I am looking forward to the challenge ahead," Torres said. "I am really happy to be back, really happy to stay with all my team-mates.

"This is the best club in the country so the targets and expectations are always high. At Liverpool the aim is to fight for every title. It was difficult last season, but we are sure we can improve this season."

New Liverpool manager Roy Hodgson always maintained that he wanted to keep the Reds' record-signing at the club and Torres said he was impressed to have been paid a personal visit.

"I really appreciated the fact that Roy came out to see me while I was on my holidays," Torres said. "He told me about his plans for the club and what he wanted from me and I appreciated that.

"I hope he will be the right man to reach the targets of Liverpool Football Club and I am really looking forward to working with him. At the moment I am training just on my own but as soon as I can I will train with the team and with the new manager."

Torres' commitment to remain with Liverpool follows that of skipper Steven Gerrard, who made a similar pledge when he returned after the World Cup.

The only one of Liverpool's senior stars who does not want to stay on Merseyside is Javier Mascherano, who asked Hodgson to allow him to leave when he came back to Melwood a week ago.

Argentina's captain is looking for a reunion with Benitez at Inter Milan but Hodgson will not allow the midfielder unless the club recieves an offer in excess of £25 million.

What If This Happen To You...Did You Ever Think About It

25 February 2010 0
Inspired from yahoo story...Like the story. So like to share with others, Don't get to busy with your work my fren...Chill out and read this...Nice one...

BUENOS AIRES, Argentina – The search is finally over for Abel Madariaga, whose pregnant wife was kidnapped by Argentine security forces 33 years ago.

After decades of doubt and loneliness, of searching faces in the street in hopes they might be related, Madariaga has found his son.

"I never stopped thinking I would find him," the 59-year-old father said, squeezing his son's arm during a packed news conference Tuesday.

"For the first time, I know who I was. Who I am," the young man said, still marveling at his new identity: Francisco Madariaga Quintela, a name he only learned last week.

The Grandmothers of the Plaza de Mayo rights group believes about 400 children were stolen at birth from women who were kidnapped and killed as part of the 1976-1983 dictatorship's "dirty war" against political dissidents, which killed as many as 30,000 people.

Madariaga and his wife, Silvia Quintela, were members of the Montoneros, a leftist group targeted for elimination by government death squads. He last saw his wife — a 28-year-old surgeon who treated the poor in a Buenos Aires suburb — being pushed into a Ford Falcon by army officers dressed as civilians as she walked to a train on Jan. 17, 1977.

Madariaga managed to flee into exile to avoid the same fate. Ever since, he has made finding the children of those who disappeared his life's cause.

Returning to a democratic Argentina in 1983, he became the grandmothers group's secretary and first male member. He lobbied the government to create a DNA database and dedicate judicial resources to the effort, and developed strategies for persuading young people with doubts about their identities to come forward and get DNA tests.

All the while, his own son's fate remained a mystery.

As it turned out, Quintela gave birth to the son the couple had planned to name Francisco in July 1977 while imprisoned in one of Argentina's largest and most notorious clandestine torture centers, the Campo de Mayo in suburban Buenos Aires. Surviving prisoners later reported that the newborn was taken from her the next day, and she disappeared shortly thereafter.

A military intelligence officer, Victor Alejandro Gallo, brought the baby, his umbilical cord still attached, home to his wife, Ines Susana Colombo. They named him Alejandro Ramiro Gallo and never told him he was adopted. The marriage didn't last — Gallo was a violent man, Francisco Madariaga said — and he never felt like he belonged, looking nothing like his brother and sister.
While the Gallo family fell apart, the younger Madariaga escaped in his own way, twice touring Europe as a professional juggler.

Meanwhile, Gallo was convicted of murdering a couple and their child during a robbery in 1994 and served a 10-year prison term.

Francisco Madariaga's doubts increased, until finally he confronted his adoptive mother. "She broke down and was able to tell me the truth," he recalled, adding that he can't say he blames her. "There was so much violence — physical and mental — and she suffered. She also was a victim."

On Feb. 3, encouraged by his friends, the young man and Colombo approached the grandmothers group to tell their story. Fearful of Gallo, they rushed to take a blood test the next day, and DNA results arrived last week. Father and son finally met on Friday — the same day Gallo was arrested on suspicion of illegal adoption.

Colombo also has been detained and questioned, according to an attorney for the grandmothers group, Alan Iud. Colombo and Gallo are represented by public defenders who didn't respond to calls after hours Tuesday.

Trembling before the cameras, Abel Madariaga recalled his reunion with his son.
"When he came through the door that night, we recognized each other totally, and the hug that brought us together was spectacular," he said.

Over the years, the grandmothers group has succeeded in identifying 100 children of the disappeared. Madariaga has organized many news conferences announcing such victories. This time, his chest heaved as he presented his own son to the world.

"At times I wondered what the hell I was living for. I had to find a way to continue, thinking about everyday things, hoping for this moment of happiness," the elder Madariaga said. "Hugging him that first time, it was as if I filled a hole in my soul."

Francisco Madariaga stopped smiling only at the mention of the name he was given by the Gallos.

"Never again" will I use this name, he said. "To have your identity is the most beautiful thing there is."

A Glass of Milk

13 November 2009 1
One day....
A poor boy was selling clothing door to door...
To pay for his education realized that he only had ten cents left in his pockets...
He was so hungry and so decided to ask for some food at the next house that he came to...
In the meantime he lost his hunger when a beautiful young woman opened the door...
Instead of a meal, he asked her for a glass of water...

She saw that he was very hungry so instead brought him a huge glass of milk...
He drank it very slowly and then asked, "How much do I owe you?"
"You do not owe me anything at all", she replied...
"My mother taught us never to accept anything for doing someone a kindness".
He replied, "then i thank you from the bottom of my heart".
When Howard Kelly left the house,
as well as feeling stronger physically,
he sensed a return of his faith in the Lord which he had nearly abandoned...

Years later...
This same young woman fell gravely ill...
The local doctors were mystified,
so they sent her to the big city where they knew that the specialists would be able to diagnose this rare sickness...

Doctor Howard Kelly was called as a consultant...
When he heard the name of the city where lived,
a memory burned brightly in his eyes...
He got up and went to her room...

As he entered her room,
he immediately recognized her...
He returned to the consultation room,
determined to do his best to save her life...

From that day on,
he paid special attention to this case...
After a long battle,
the war was finally won...

Doctor Kelly left instructions that the bill should be sent to him for authorization...
He looked it over,
wrote something in the margin,
and sent it to her room...

She thought that when she opened the envelope,
she would find an invoice that would take the rest of her life to pay in full...
But when she finally opened it...
Something caught her attention in the margin of the invoice...
She read these words: "Paid in full with a glass of milk, Doctor Howard Kelly."

Tears of joy filled her eyes and her heart...
She prayed, "Thank you Lord, for your love has crossed the hands and hearts of man."

There is a saying that goes like this:
"Bread thrown over the water returns to you"
An act of goodness that you do today can come back to you or someone that you love,
when you are not expecting it...

If you do not see this act of goodness returned,
at least you will have made a diffenrence in this world...
And in the end, isn't that what life is all about?

The hardest lesson in life, is to know which bridges to cross,
and which to burn...
Many people pass through our lives but only real friends leave their imprint in our hearts..

Walking In DayDreams

30 October 2009 1
Ever experienced this before...
Actually you are awake but feel like you are dreaming...
I can say, in reality you are walking in a daydream...

If you dream of walking rapidly in your dream, you will come to possess a much desired object...
To walk in pleasent places, you will be the possessor of fortune and favor...
To dream of walking in the night brings bad luck and times when your feelings are not reciprocated...

To dream of walking on water means that you have supreme control over your emotions....
Alternatively, it may symbolize faith in yourself...

Many people see themselves walking along in a dream...
It is very important to remember where you were walking to and if the walk was difficult or not...
The way we move in dreams, or the means of transportation, may represent how efficiently we maneuver and progress on our own personal life journey...
Also, is the means of transportation appropriate for the journey?

The video shows, actually more or less the same...
What will you do when you were in that situation?
Sometime we think, in dreams, we can solve it even its imposibble to do so.

Enjoy it...

Some People....

07 October 2009 4
Some people come into our lives and quickly go....

Some people move our souls to dance....

They awaken us to new understanding....

But yet.....you still wondering why its happen that way...

Some people make the sky more beautiful to gaze upon....

They stay in our lives for awhile....

leave footprints on our hearts....

and we are never, ever the same again....

Some people see us....

Not the way we are but the way we look....

Even we hate it, but that is how life goes....

29 September 2009 3

"There comes a time in most of our lives when we feel unappreciated, unloved and - perhaps - unwanted, and there are times when, try as we might, we feel that we are getting nowhere. If this sounds like you, then this is a goood time for reflection - and a great time to reconsider the purpose of life."

Why 09/09/09 Is So Special

09 September 2009 3
For cultures in which the number nine is lucky, Sept. 9 is anticipated - while others might see the date as an ominous warning...hmmmm...

As the final numeral, the number nine holds special rank. It is associated with forgiveness, compassion and success on the positive side as well as arrogance (have to change hoh...) and self-righteousness on the negative, according to numerologists...

What so special with today's date??????

OF COURSE ITS SO SPECIAL...

09/09/09.......ITS MY BIRTHDAY...

Come sing together with me...hehehe...

An Love Story

25 August 2009 6
There was once a guy suffered from cancer....A cancer that can't be treated. He was 18 years old and he could die anytime. All his life, he was stuck in his house being taken cared by his mother. He never went outside but he was sick of staying home and wanted to go out for once.

So he asked his mother and she gave him permission. He walked down his block and found a lot of stores. He passed a CD store and looked through the front door for a second as he walked. He stopped and went back to look into the store. He saw a young girl about his age and he knew it was love at first sight. He opened the door and walked in, not looking at anything else but her. He walked closer and closer until he was finally at the front desk where she sat.

She looked up and asked "Can I help You". She smiled and he thought it was the most beautiful smile he has ever seen before and wanted to kiss her right there.

He said "Uh...Yeah...Umm...I would like to buy a CD". He picked one out and gave her money for it.

"Would you like me to wrap it for you" she asked, smiling her cute smile again.

He nodded and she went to the back.

She came back with the wrapped CD and gave it to him. He took it and walked out of the store. He went home and from then on, he went to that store everyday and bought a CD, and she wrapped it for him. He took the CD home and put it in his closet. He was still too shy to ask her out and he really wanted to but he couldn't. His mother found out about this and told him to just ask her.

So the next day, he took all his courage and went to the store. He bought a CD like he did everyday and once again she went to the back of the store and came back with it wrapped. He took it and when she wasn't looking, he left his phone number on the desk and ran out...

!!!RRRRRING!!!

The mother picked up the phone and said, Hello

It was the girl!!! She asked for the boy and the mother started to cry and said, "You don't know. He passed away yesterday..."

The line was quiet except for the cries of the boy's mother.

Later in the day, the mother went into the boy's room because she wanted to remember him. She thought she would start by looking at his clothes. So she opened the closet. She was face to face with piles and piles and piles of unopened CDs. She was surprised to find all those CDs and she picked one up and sat down on the bed and she started to open one.

Inside, there was a CD and as she took it out of the wrapper, out fell a piece of paper. The mother picked it up and started to read it.

It said "Hi...I think U R really cute. Do u wanna go out with me...Love, Jacelyn..."

The mother opened another CD...

Again there was a piece of paper. It said "Hi...I think U R really cute. Do u wanna go out with me...Love, Jacelyn"

Love is...when you've had a huge fight but then decide to put aside your egos, hold hands and say, I Love You....

Pencen swasta diwujudkan

12 August 2009 2

Turut hadir, Pengerusi SC, Tan Sri Zarinah Anwar.

Cyclopia Syndrome

31 July 2009 4
Some of you might not know what this syndrome about. I read about it few days ago and wanted to share to my blog reader. Its a nice info actually and at the same I call it "Awareness". So guys, ready to face the reality....

Cyclopia (also cyclocephaly or synophthalmia) is a rare form of holoprosencephaly and is a congenital disorder (birth defect) characterized by the failure of the embryonic prosencephalon to properly divide the orbits of the eye into two cavities. Its incidence is 1 in 16,000 in born animals, and 1 in 250 in embryos.

Typically, the nose is either missing or replaced with a non-functioning nose in the form of a proboscis. Such a proboscis generally appears above the central eye, and is characteristic of a form of cyclopia called rhinencephaly or rhinocephaly.
Although cyclopia is very rare, several cyclopic human babies are preserved in medical museums (e.g. The Vrolik Museum, Amsterdam). There are also two known cases of children with Down Syndrome being born with one eye.
Some extreme cases of cyclopia have been documented in cats. In such cases, the nose and mouth fail to form, resulting in suffocation shortly after birth.

CAUSES:
Genetic problems or toxins can cause problems in the embryonic forebrain-dividing process.

One highly teratogenic alkaloid toxin that can cause cyclopia is cyclopamine or 2-deoxyjervine, found in the plant Veratrum californicum (also known as corn lily or vetch weed). The mistake of ingesting Veratrum californicum while pregnant is often due to the fact that hellebore, a plant with which it is easily confused, is recommended as a natural treatment for vomiting, cramps, and poor circulation, three conditions that are quite common in pregnant women. Cyclopia occurs in the womb when the protein is inhibited and causes the brain to stay a whole instead of having two distinct hemispheres, which also means one optic lobe and one olfactory lobe resulting in one eye.

Notable cases:
An old description of a colt apparently suffering from cyclopia reads:

First, That it had no sign of any Nose in the usual place, nor had it any, in any other place of the Head, unless the double Bagg CC that grew out of the midst of the forehead, were some rudiment of it.

Next, That the two Eyes were united into one Double Eye which was placed just in the middle of the Brow.

BLUE RIBBON AGAINST CHILD ABUSE

21 July 2009 7

My name is Sarah

I am but three,

my eyes are swollen

I cannot see.

I must be stupid,
I must be bad,
what else could have made
my daddy so mad?

I wish I were better,
I wish I weren't ugly,
then maybe my Mommy
would still want to hug me.

I can't speak at all,
I can't do a wrong
or else I'm locked up
all the day long.

When I awake I'm all alone
the house is dark
my folks aren't home.

When my Mommy does come
I'll try and be nice,
so maybe I'll get just
one whipping tonight.

Don't make a sound!
I just heard a car
my daddy is back
from Charlie's Bar.

I hear him curse
my name he calls
I press myself
against the wall.

I try and hide
from his evil eyes
I'm so afraid now
I'm starting to cry.

He finds me weeping
he shouts ugly words,
he says its my fault
that he suffers at work.
He slaps me and hits and
yells at me more,
I finally get free
and I run for the door. He's already locked it
and I start to bawl,
he takes me and throws me
against the hard wall.

I fall to the floor
with my bones nearly broken,
and my daddy continues
with more bad words spoken.

'I'm sorry!' I scream
but its now much too late
his face has been twisted
into unimaginable hate.

The hurt and the pain
again and again
oh please God, have mercy!
oh please let it end!

And he finally stops
and heads for the door,
while I lay there motionless
sprawled on the floor.

My name is Sarah
and I am but three,
tonight my daddy
murdered me.

There are thousands of kids out there just like Sarah.
And you can help

It sickens me to my soul,
and if you just read this and don't pass it on
I pray for your forgiveness,
because you would have to be one heartless person to not be affected by this story.
And because you are affected, do something about it!!

So all I am asking you to do is take some time
to send this on and acknowledge that this stuff does happen,
and that people like her dad do live in our society,
and pray for child abuse to wither out and die,
but also pray for the safety of our youth.

Please pass this poem on
as a Blue Ribbon Against Child Abuse
because, as crazy as it might sound,
it might just indirectly change a life.

Psychopath Answer

27 May 2009 3
Still remember this IQ test????
So here are the answer for Psychopath...the answer that my psychologist wannabe been waitin for...sori for keeping so long...

But before that, let me refresh the question:

"A woman, while at the funeral of her own mother, met a guy whom she did Not know. She thought this guy was amazing.. She believed him to be her dream guy so much, that she fell in love with him right there, but never asked for his number and could not find him. A few days later she killed her sister."

Question: What is her motive for killing her sister?

So this are the answers from my followers:

My Psychologist Wannabe: maybe that mysterious guy are her sister boyfriend? or only a friend. or that women already insane?

Princess: i think the answer is... the same as your answer that u wil give 1 week after this. :P

Indai Wai: cos her sister kept de secret dat the guy was actually her late mother's boifren mwahahahahaha

Hhmmmm...you will never expect...So the real answer was:

"She was hoping the guy would appear at the funeral again."

If you answered this correctly, you think like a psychopath. This was a test by famous American Psychologist used to test if one has the same mentality as a killer. Many arrested serial killers took part in the test and answered the question correctly.

If you didn't answer the question correctly, good for you.

If you got the answer correct, please let me know and GET OFF from my life...hahahahaha

The Sensitives

15 May 2009 4
I still owe some entry...

Futsal, pandan, payang and some March activities...plus April and May
Oh yea...psychopath test as i promised...thanks for remind me, my psychologist wannabe
Try to make it before April but....twister comes from nowhere...
and suddenly....there it was...my bad entry for april...

not a good start ait...
luckily no one make a FOOL APRIL at me...
But i did to someone...hehehe...

orais...actually i found something....
coz i alwaz seen this so juz to share to my "pok" fren...
something juz for share

Sensitivity should have no part in me
The sensitives are mashed down and used up
Oh how easy a careless word or thought
Can devour
The little seed of confidence newly planted
The tiny baby shoots
Self esteem
That has persistently persisted
Pushing through the dry
And desecrated earth
Have now withered and died
The sensitive heart is shrivelled
The blood of vitality
Dried up
The vessels, veins and arteries
Friendship
Have all constricted

All that remains
Are dust
Ashes to ashes
Dust to dust
Life begins
But ends unexpected
With a whiff
Has diminished
To stale vapour
All because of heightened sensitivity
Thoughts and ideas
Suffocate
In the throat
No more can differing opinions be broadcasted
The tongue is parched
The fruit of knowledge is scarce
The sustenance of life
The pure water of creativity
Has been replaced with vanity
And politically correct speech

No longer will the thirst of curiosity
Be quenched
The Sensitives
Fear confrontation
And are found in the dark corners
Of forgotten rooms
Among desolation and hopelessness
Afraid to speak out
In their God giving tongues
Accepting wrong for right
Instead of truth
The enemy has won
Before the fight even commence
The retreat is signalled
The Battle lost
The fallen and dead are left to the rodents and scavengers
The rest are begging for a quick end
But none can be found
Love and compassion

Now
Non-existent
All is lost
Bitter laughter resonates
The sensitives’ heads are bowed
In pure shame
